What's the difference between a company holiday and a company blackout?


Company Holiday

A company holiday is a day off granted to all employees that does not get deducted form their leave allowance.

This is usually a date that is specific to that company and should not be confused with statutory holidays. 

Company Blackout

A company blackout, on the other hand, is a day that you DO NOT want your employees to be able to take as holiday. Creating a blackout will ensure that an employee is not able to book over that date:
