Notes and reminders is an area of the system where you can save any miscellaneous information for the employee. (Scroll down to the bottom of the article to find out what you could use the notes section for)
Employee notes & reminders can be found under the more tab in the employees profile.
There is also a shortcut to this area of an employee's profile on each screen relating to that employee by the right of their name:
This is a great place to store any information to remind you about one of your employees.
Here you can quickly view the note about your employee such as ask for a copy of an ID document. On the reminder date an email will be sent to you to remind you to do your task.
It will also appear on your dashboard to remind you too!
Should you need to edit or delete the existing note you can do this at any time.

How can I use the notes section?
A number of our users use the notes section to record employee lateness, since employees cannot see this section. Your line managers may be able to, depending on the permissions you have set up for them (settings> permissions and approvals> line managers)
You can also keep track of what resources you have issued to the employee. At the end of the year, you can pull off a notes report to find out what was issued and when.
